Unrequited love is a very difficult thing to deal with. It is full of sadness and agony between two people. It's when one person in a relationship isn't fully aware of the others feelings for the other one. This reminds me of Tom and Daisy's relationship because Tom id cheating on Daisy and Daisy still wants to keep Tom around because she doesn't want her life to change. Tom used Myrtle wilson, Mr. George Wilson's wife for sex; Daisy knew about all of this but didn't say a thing. She later thought she liked Jay Gatsby, but Tom used the word "bootlegger" which made Daisy change her mind about him.
"Daisy and Tom were sitting opposite each other at the kitchen table... They weren't happy... yet they weren't unhappy either. There was an unmistakable air of natural intimacy about the picture, and anybody would have said that they were conspiring together."

In the cold change which time hath wrought on love
(The snowy winter of his summer prime),
Should a chance sigh or sudden tear-drop move
Thy heart to memory of the olden time;
Turn not to gaze on me with pitying eyes,
Nor mock me with a withered hope renewed;
But from the bower we both have loved, arise
And leave me to my barren solitude!
What boots it that a momentary flame
Shoots from the ashes of a dying fire?
We gaze upon the hearth from whence it came,
And know the exhausted embers must expire:
Therefore no pity, or my heart will break;
Be cold, be careless--for thy past love's sake!

Good post. Make sure to cite your information. Your header looks a little strange. Is there supposed to be a picture there? I like the slideshow on the top, but your youtube video bar looks out of place (nothing to do with the 1920's). Your music player is not playing. 70/75
