1920's

The 20's era was a era of great invention..
one invention that had a major impact on lives was the radio. The radio allowed americans to listen to news, music, and comedy shows. Another invention of the 20's was an insulin shot for diabetics and penicillin, this decade made some major breakthroughs with medicine and science.

One of the biggest problems in the 1920's was the prohibition. This was a ban on alcoholic drinks. This ended up causing many gangs and mafias.. it also didn't stop people from drinking it just made them do it behind closed doors called speakeasies.

flappers also

Dancing was a major part of the 20's. The charleston was the most popular dance and at Gatsby's parties that was the dance everyone knew.

The Roaring 20's was a time of prohibition, flappers, music, & dancing. Dances that were most popular in the 20's were the charleston, fox-trot, and shimmy.
